Bread Roll (Ozmen Sarısı)

One of the most well-known types of bread, Roll Bread can be made with any kind of flour. Roll bread means small loaf of bread. Hamburger buns are often used as toast bread. Although some craftsmen add sugar to Roll Bread to soften it, it is originally made from loaf bread dough. Breads ranging in weight from 50 to 100 gr. are also an important solution against waste. Especially breads under 50 gr. contain enough energy for human health in one go. Different flavorings and sweeteners such as rye, seeds and sesame seeds can be used on roll breads made from wholemeal, whole wheat and wheat flour. Some masters spread egg yolk on the bread, which can be used according to preference.

  • 1 kg flour for the dough
  • 17 gr for the dough. Salt
  • 40 g for the dough. Wet yeast
  • 600 gr. water for the dough
  • 1 egg yolk for the top
  • 30 gr. sesame seeds for the top
