Ingredients

For Halva

  • 50-70 g Burgos 0 Semolina Semolina Flour
  • 250 g butter (or a mixture of 200 g butter + 50 g sunflower oil)
  • 50 g pine nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (improves flavor balance)

For the syrup

  • 800 ml milk
  • 400 ml of water
  • 400 g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1 packet vanillin)
  • 1/2 lemon zest (optional aromatic addition)
